Killer thoughtsA Poem by Rob SantanaNow I lay me down to sleep, and all these spirits start to creep...When I lay myself down The invasion of my mind begins The darkness outlines Evil grins These evil spirits constantly Pushing me to double up on my sins Demons in my mind Engraving thoughts of death I can smell the devils acidic breath Lucifer's on top of me Doing the dance of death With my eyes closed I can see the cloaked one Grab my wrist I open my eyes And see a black mist Twisted disgusting thoughts Of violent murders Spill into my hemispheres Spirits hovering above me With bright golden eyes Whispering amongst themselves About my demise I try to move But I'm paralyzed I try to scream But I am mute These entities Continue to pollute my mind With images of me Slaughtering My family I suddenly hear a voice say "Death and suicide are on your side" These killer thoughts Start to subside My eyes get heavy I finally fall asleep Now The Nightmares Start to creep..
