The girl I saw

He doesn't really know exactly when he saw her for the first time , but he was sure that she was a special person who carried all the features he admired in a girl , she was just perfect , at least for him .

At an earlier time Riad led a chaotic life not caring for the minor idea of having someone of the opposite sex in his miserable life . He himself couldn't bear the sleazy days he was experiencing , because of his surroundings related to the society he lived in , which he held an intense feeling of hatred , and the low life neighbourhood that was as annoying as hell .

Another possible assumption which suggest that he maybe just didn't encounter the right person yet , or perhaps his emphasis was strongly linked to the idea of having his diploma , and leaving the country for a European journey , made him oblivious for the things that surrounded him .

Until the day came on which he decided to act and approach the girl that troubled him and messed up his future plans, which he considered absolutely unarguable at first , as if they are some sort of a dogma . Ritadj was her pretty name . He knew absolutely nothing about her , just mesmerized by her beauty , her blue eyes and her behaving manners , he decided to act and take a shot to figure out whether or not he would get the little angel he thought of day and night .

Because of his shyness , he couldn't dare to approach her directly and talk to her , so he thought he could speak to her through Facebook , where it would be more appropriate and his dignity would be saved if the girl said no , for even talking to him . At a very late hour at night , he wrote a message for her disparately , and without even a bit of hope that she would respond . 10 minutes after , the cute little angel replied to his message by saying " don't know what to say. " After several days of chatting on Facebook , Ritadj accepted to meet him in the university . He had an exam for the following day , but all he thought of was just her , he couldn't get her out of his mind , he wasn't even able to sleep that night .

He got out of the classroom willing to meet her . He typed her a message " I'll be seeing you on the fourth floor " , she replied " I'm there " . His heart beating rates raised suddenly with a mixed feeling of joy and fear . He went there and found the girl waiting for him , he heard her saying to her girlfriend " that's him " . He was astonished by her beauty and the lovely courtesy which embellished her personality , and made her a unique person for him. Gazing at her blue eyes like a fool was an infinite feeling of joy , she was wonderful with her smile , she even tried to make him comfortable by asking him some questions after he was at a lost of words , a moment of silence he executed not because of shyness , but astonishment . All this happened in two hasty minutes before she said to him " I'm sorry , I have to go , I have to get my nephew " . First thought came through his mind " It was just a pretext , that's obvious you dumb stupid ... " . He headed home while thinking about what just happened to him, " It's alright , I'm not her type , she is too high to be approached by a guy like me " that's what crossed his mind after she left . All he thought of " I'm not good enough for this stuff , nor for her , I'm only good at fishing maybe ". Though , even at fishing , he was awful .

Sitting in the bus , his phone rang , a message from Ritadj " I'm sorry I had to go " that made him smile and rethink of what happened . They kept typing each other untill he got home , she turned his day into a glory .

After days and nights of chatting , and just before the holidays , he asked too see her again and she agreed . On a Thursday morning he waited for her at the stairs , while she typed and said " I'm coming " . She was gorgeous . Words wouldn't be enough to describe her . He felt that he was very lucky to meet such a wonderful person , and could not stop staring her mesmerizing blue eyes while talking to her .

She meant a lot for him , she has shown him a new way of living , a way to get rid of his wretched life . Though the society he lived in and its traditions are not really in his favour , he decided to stick with the idea of being optimistic and that it could be realised , otherwise she wouldn't accept to be stuck in an ambiguous situation . A lot of thoughts crossed his confused mind " Do I have to say That I'm sorry if it happens not to work with both of us , because of the chaotic society that we're born and lived in... one is difficult to make his living and a good situation to have the desired spouse for his one lived life . Should I tell her those words now ? or maybe I should carry on with the simplest way and let things come later so we face them together ."

Despite all the impediments , she is someone worth every sacrifice and every effort to the last breath . Kokii was the nickname he gave her and wished he could give more for that pretty name .
