BurnedA Poem by Awaken the SleepwalkerBased on Gossip Wolf and the FoxWhy would you make such a request as to think I would take this job on my shoulders. To think I want to be its godfather when your kind has enslaved mine for so long. I am witty, and you are strong. "Allow me to repay you for this gift Such a strong baby must have food I know where there are some sheepish morsels." I also know these people are cruel "They wont see you over there and I will go here to get a chicken" I watch you go, you creep like you are some great thing Some time later you come wimpering back Scolded and burnt all over "Oh my ,they fell on me, and i am broken! you must carry me wolf!" You, stupid creature. You carry me. You want me to be its godfather, and teach it? I'll teach it how to use people. How to be clever, and resourseful And I'll laugh as I bound off For I am clever and you are only strong.
