Adopted

I am adopted, but this poem does not reflect my views

I've never been able to grasp me

I feel alone

not even my own mother wanted me

She only cared about all her pills

to my brother

I was just that accident, that is all

The entire family pushed me away

gave me up

and have never sought me out, to check up

I cannot say I'm not happy or loved

I truly am

I am their child no matter the blood relations
