“He’s so weird” Kaitlen said to her friend looking at Benji Harry.
“Like some kind of freak of nature or something.”
“No, Kaitlen. I think he just has his own personality.” Trace said defensively.
“Personality? Trace, he walks around writing freaking spells on his body.”
“Well Kaitlen, I don’t think he’s a freak. And you shouldn’t go around talking about people. You’re so pathetic.” Trace remarked as she walked away.
“Trace. Come back!” Kaitlen yelled after her friend but she kept walking.
Trace hated walking home. Especially when it was late. It was dark now and the only light available was lurking through the trees from the moon. Goosebumps formed on her skin as eerie noises echoed on the ally.
“Only three blocks to go.” She told her self. She turned on a deserted street and her pace quickened. The wind grew stronger by the minute. As she walked she felt as if she was being followed. Stopping she looked at her surroundings. Shadows morphed in strange figures only deepening her fears. When she turned around a figure was standing only inches from her.
She screamed in horror as she collapsed to the floor. Right before stood Benji.
“ Kinda strange for a mortal to be walking around at night.” His face was pale and mysterious.
“B..b..Benji. What are you doing here?” Trace choked out as she scrabbled backwards.
“It’s normal for me.” He took slow steps forward.
“O. Ok. I’m going to go now.” She scrabbled to her feet.
“What’s the rush?” He asked. She could feel his cold hand on he wrist.
“Follow me.” He demanded not letting go.
“No. I want to go.” She cried out trying to tug away. Sharply he turned his head and his eyes beamed down on her. Even though it was dark, she clearly saw fangs; sharp and bold.
“Oh, God.” She shrieked. He pulled her to him. They were dangerously close. She felt his hot breath on her neck and it began to prick. She stood still. Terror struck. The hair on the back of her neck stood as he breathed on her. He smelled her scent and he liked it. Within seconds she felt pressure on her neck, then everything faded.

She woke up sitting in a chair. Her legs and arms tied to it. The room was murky with candles, oracles, skulls, and scents were all around. Her neck began to throe as she looked around the room. Tears poured from her eyes as she embraced the daunting memories. Her heart began to pound as heavy footsteps repeated through the room. Benji stood in front of her. Blood stained his mouth.
“Tracccceeeee.” He hissed.
“Benji. I just want to go home.” She cried.
“Join me.” “No. No.” She cried out. “You Freak!”
“Freak? No.Vampire.”
