A Poem by
Abhra
I want to know the origin of wind. I want to know her face. If she has history and kins.I want to know her name. What did they call the wind when she was a child? Was she named sawah ? Is there a road that she takes less often?
What does she think when she's passing through a flute? Is she shy often? Who does she wake up with when
she sleeps by night in Tunisia? I want to know where she goes,
s ometimes with a hunter's heart..
sometimes with a farmer's grace .
Is there someone who awaits her by days
and nightly as she tolls
between her fables and his window?

Ah, that illusive and elusive force that breathes essence into air. That restless wanderer that cannot be held nor seen but felt.
Your writing has a beautiful soul that fills the page.

Ah, but Ed has his ways with the blondes, brunettes, and sundry other palettes. There is a wonderful musicality here, and a very judicious use of repetition which embellishes that. Fine, fine work.

i don't like it when some good looking young man comes along who can hit the high notes better than me, especially when he takes all the chicks

What an original theme! As usual this has the dreamy, romantic sound that I have come to expect and enjoy. The wind with a personality...
"Is there someone who awaits her by days
and nightly as she tolls
between her fables and his window?" I feel there is something hidden in this....hmmmm.
