Musings

A Poem by Elijah Michael Madden

Who's to blame for selfish indignation?
Where's the shame in the shortings of our nations?
What does money mean to cavernous beasts?
Where will we go, and what sights will we see
once we truly grasp possibility?
Why must we suffer and die,
if not simply to live life?
When will you have heard my song,
and once you do, won't you come along?
