Love

Poetry from my own experience and belief

Love can be such a wonderful thing and it can be so cruel. The way my soul aches and my heart breaks for you. 

Love is always patient and kind. It is never boastful or jealous. It is never only in my mind. 

You gave me your word on how much you love me and that you would see me soon. I should have known that was absurd. 

My heart has been turned to dust and my soul shattered. I warned that I would never love again and my soul would grow dark.

I neverf loved liek this before, the feeling is indescribable. You hold the key to my salvation, yet to you and she it doesn't matter.

My love will never change for love is patient and kind. I can't help, but to love you. Because you are always on my mind.
