Complaining 😄

I am capable of So Much More.
I am more than a housewife.
I am more than.

I can I can I can.
But why haven't I?

I'm ready.
I am smart.
I am able.

Where's the money that will give me my chance?
Where's the pause button on my bills?

My dreams used to mean something.
Money was not my means.
I was going to change the world.

Now I'm here

Wonderfully honest words, whether fact or fiction. Life tumbles around and about, often placing head where feet should be and opposite. Tis life, regardless of desires and plans.. but, tis said, there's a reason for everything, rather like seeing the thorn on a stem and overlooking the tightly wraoped bud. Perhaps?

Second reading: there's a slow, gentle movement to your words as if speaking aloud, almost coming to terns yet, waiting for the kettle to boil so that life might heat up... for sure, it will. Fine poetry, gently emotional.. words placed just so. Thank you.

We too often become complacent with life. Accepting what we are doing to be the end all be all. We stop growing, stop learning, and stop believing in our dreams. Then before we know it the time to achieve those dreams has passed. Don't let that time come. Go. Dream. Achieve. The only obstacle is yourself.
