The Light in the Dark

How we are the light in the dark, and how we must fight for what we believe.

A light in the dark,

The hope in hopeless times,

The positive to the negative,

The difference between good or bad,

The decisions of people.

To continue on,

Or to give up all hope.

What do we live for?

Why is there that light in the dark?

Why the hope, in hopeless times?

The light is the hope

The dark is the hopeless times,

We hope for better times,

We watch the light, so that it spreads.

We live for tomorrow,

We live for not ourselves,

But for the good of others,

We are the light in the dark, 

We are the hope in hopeless times.

We must spread the hope,

We must spread the light.

So the earth may know,

Who we are.

Never give up hope. I liked this piece, it made me smile. No matter how deep the darkness that surrounds us, we will always have a chance if we have a little faith.
