Magic Within

A mage writes of his powers, the secrets he must keep, the secrets all magic carriers must keep.

We who learn the secrets,

of Fire, Water, Air, Earth,

Darkness, Lightness.

All these things must be kept secret.

The undiscovered ones,

all kept secret.

The magic that lies within us,

can never be told.

The Mages, the Necromancers,

The creatures born of magic.

The ways are secret, 

the ways are held within.

Our masters know,

we know, but we can never,

we can never tell the world.

The secret of the power within

shall never be known.

Magic, shall never be known.

I REALLY LIKE THIS PIECE. at first I thought the magic within was about love, but then when I read it I became starstruck with it. Your use of the natural elements , light and darkness and even your use of the words like necromancer, masters and creatures really gives the poem a mystical and supernatural theme. Which I thought was brilliant. Keep up the good work. Stay inspired.
