The last words of GagendorA Poem by IlerahA poem about what a hero of battle said about life, to the servant of the king. All this took place after a gruesome battle. He
fell to the ground His
arms fell limb Everyone
was silent Until
he spoke.
“There
will always be a victor Life
will always go on The
evil may flourish for a time But
the good will triumph.
Life
goes on Some
say it ends It
may continue Until
a victor appears This
day may end But
life continues Even
the good may die But
another will appear
These
are my father’s words The
day he left He
came home again With
a smile on his face
The
day then came when he went on To
pass it down to on to me This
is now pass forth Unto
you oh squire of Marken
I
give to you what he gave to me This
sword named Threnegrad He
handed it over on his last day And
so I will do the same
Jednar servant
to king Ramar Year 328 W.F.
