Short story that is supposed to talk about bullying.
Jayden never liked school , he was always sitting alone...hoping someone would come and talk to him , but nobody cared. So he waited and waited until one day he got tired. Why did they hate him? He didn't do anything wrong , he was never mean to anybody. He was just a happy little boy. What Jay didn't know it's that being different these days is a crime and being forgotten is the punishment you get. No , little Jayden never liked school.
As you have previously stated in your quotations, we shouldn't really be told what its about but rather to read and find out that this is the subject in which the story is based around. Now, these are my questions...
Why does Jayden never like school? If its bullying, then why? What makes Jayden a target to this punishment? What is Jayden's homelife like? What makes Jayden unique? This is more like an incident instead of a short story. In a short story, there needs to be some form of exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and conclusion. There is also some kind of conflict. There isn't much character development either.
Develop your ideas but most importantly dig deeper. If you want to write a story that incorporates the idea of bullying, do more than just present the idea. Poke around and present it in different viewpoints. For what reasons does bullying exist, for example? Research your topic. Ask questions about the material and raise those questions as an audience would.
Grammar should be the least of your worries, at least until you get your ideas down. Keep writing, keep digging but never give up.
