Twilight

A Poem by Rose F.
"

The dark Twilight...

"

The cold shadow
Of the dark twilight
A noise is heard
On a midsummer’s night
Sacred ground
Hallowed voices
Love struck hearts
Shallow choices
Times are hard
Halos are torn
Angels cry
Wings are worn
Darkness surrounds
Mirrors are broken
Rainbow in the dim sky
The stars are outspoken
The beams are coming up
The blackness is going out of sight
But still lies the shadow
Of the dark twilight

I wrote this way before the Stephanie Meyer Twiliht craze. So don't think it's about vampires. It's about evil beings and angels that come out while you sleep.

Well done, great write. smooth reading. Angels cry Wings are torn. I have a recurring nightmare, "hiding in the shadow".
Thank you for sharing. God Bless
