The Epic of December

The Epic of December

A Poem by Rose F.
"

Lies.

"

Blue Compass
White Lion
Do you feel the winter breeze yet
Or is summer denying?

Points taken
And I’m feeling forsaken
For faking
And the drawings fading

Chalk memories
Leave me blind
Blood enemies
Have made my heart resign

Two loners
Make separate masterpieces of love
And a angry angel
Spites it from above

Stop feeling 1st
No, then it’s forever…
No, it’s longer!
Not even death will sever!

Grimace at the thought of
Re-routing the past
So now prayers go out
For this friendship to last

Read this book
It is an epic
A poorly written tragedy as I once said
Every line is pathetic

Throw rocks at the sky
They’ll still fall back down
Every once meaningful lyric
Just amplifies in sorrowful sound

Blank mind…
I don’t remember….
Something in the back of my mind screams
“DECEMBER!!!”

Close my eyes
the amber gates to hell
I find my purpose once again
And I start back to place I 1st fell.

It's really metaphorical. I'm not sure many will understand.
