When Murder Dies...

When Murder Dies...

A Poem by Brett Campaigne
"

"

When the hero retires,
The villian converts to a couch potatoe doctrine
Because stasis makes sense in a world
Lacking ThaT specific tension
         When murder dies...
Emperor Olive draws a picture
with a dry pen and presents it as a diagram
for what's in store for me
  and you.
                                   A chromatic resignation
Boredom usurps the throne of procession
          When murder dies...
      Suicide is born
      For death is immortal.

wow...u have madea language of your own..i'm in love with what you do to words, couch potato doctrine...wow
an interesting onlook on tragedy...yes,once the hero retires it has got to end...
boredom usurps the throne of possession
Sucide is born
becoz we cannot exist in absence of this tension, stasis is death...

this is a unique poem. very thought-provoking & deep. the villain cannot be a villain without the hero. i love the ending "When murder dies... Suicide is born For death is immortal." and life must always end. very deep, dark mysterious piece of work.

Really thought provoking piece.
It has a genuine depth that makes the reader absorb each sentence to penetrate it's meaning.
Beautiful use of language too.
I love the irony in the ending...
"For death is immortal." Perfect.
