Sister

Sister

A Poem by Emme

First minute out of my bed
I'm yelled at because I left
Gosh-knows-what at the foot of her ladder
Then she keeps me out of the bathroom in the morning
By standing in front of the mirror
However long it takes to irritate me
She leaves before I do with no goodbye
But at the end of the day
I can always confide in her
And we'll always love each other

I am an English major, currently reading and obsessing over Paradise Lost. I've been going through a weird zombie phase lately (is there such a thing as a normal zombie phase?) more..
