season passed

things have changed

nothing lasts

 

Leaves have turned

the trees have beared

a life is lost

a sorrow shared

 

It's been five months

The sky is grey

bitter and cold

Death robbed the cradle

a sad story told...

Spring is here

life is born

the world still turns

a family torn...

Bitter sweet.
A beautifully written poem, that rips at the soul as it is vauge enough to apply to ones own life, yet specific enough as to tell the reader should they choose to see what the writer is saying, the pain flowing from the writers pen.
The repetition of every other stanza serves almost as a reminder that some pain leaves us without words at times.
You have conveyed this deeply felt pain that has lingered, Five months, seasons, things changed, nothing lasting~ at a controlled pace and brought your reader on a journey with you.
The tempo, the flow all controlled to bring the reader along and share with them what you are saying.
In a word, agony.
