Forget Me Always

Forget Me Always

A Poem by Stephanie Knight
"

A poem of how I want those whom come to know and love me to understand what I want from them.

"
Forget me always.
I do not want my absence to be dwelled on
or be an event of sorrow.
Please fulfill this request of mine and do not think of me.

Death can be heartbreaking,
and remembrance can be even tougher.
I'd rather not be brought up in conversation or thought.
Rather than Forget Me Not,
Forget Me Always.

Whether good memories or bad,
Do not keep me on your mind.
When I am gone, it's not forever but
simply for now.
Forget Me Always.

When I am watching over you,
I do not want to see tears shed.
I only wish to see you happy and moving on.
Do not make my death and funeral a big deal.
Just please--Forget Me Always.

About
Well, I'm a high believer that Literature is an important key in striving through life. Though reading is not a necessity to "live", it does allow the minds of all to expand more than what we believe... more..
