My Silence Says It All

Sonnet

 

My silence says it all when you are near
And my weak heart longs for your soft embrace;
Yet still, I cannot get over this fear
To tell you how I feel when face to face.
Your eyes entrance my soul and hold captive
My essence with those lovely azure eyes
Shining like ocean waves, growing active,
And I, a castaway, weary with sighs
As ocean waves surround both sides of me.
My love, enchant me with your words, so sweet,
That dwell inside my heart, eternally
Bound where each, a solace, I take retreat.

My dear, my sweet, you're all that I think of,
A secret hidden I will always love.

 

 

 

 

Author's Note

A poem about someone so enchanted over his beloved, yet he cannot form the words to tell her. He decides to keep her his secret love, his mind being the only place his love will live. (Inside the mind, worlds can come alive).

Inside the mind conditions can lead to perditon. A love that cannot truely be expressed is a love that may soon not die but at the very least is not fair to the one loved... Excallent write though, its really very good. The guy is a hopeless romantic though, I think.
