Conversation between Adam and Lillith

Conversation between Adam and Lillith

A Poem by IceDragonOfPluto
"

The first eight lines are Adam speaking and the last six are Lillith replying to Adam. Do some research on Adam's first wife, Lillith if you're not familiar.

"
Many years ago, we stood this same spot
Making plans, building dreams we thought would last.
The seasons passed and though our lives forgot
To see them through, my love will never pass.
Pleasantries, light hearted smiles won't restore
The wheel of fate your pride had spun anew;
That day you left, my mind cannot ignore,
With second best, I look for signs of you.
Oh long ago, when love did not submit
To roles of slave, to give my soul and all,
Our loveso pure that none could dare resist,
Now with your slave, from grace your life did fall.
Regrets, I feel for you, my love, my dear
And though I left, I left only in fear.

This is a clever twist .. I never thought of the conversation the two of them would have had before she left.. interesting for sure lol..xx

As did I leave in fear but returned triumphant for for the first time in my life, Excallent write! I must admit though I'm a bit confused by the flow of conversation, perhaps I take the title to litterally!
