Hades to Persephone

Hades to Persephone

A Poem by IceDragonOfPluto

Oh how I fear, this night, my dreams may break
And take the darling of my muse away!
Let not despair and its wretchedness take
My memories of you. Oh let them stay!
Like Hades to Persophone, I must
Brood and dwell on keeping you by my side.
Passions now boil as I fall to this lust;
My love for you, I can no longer hide.
Though many nights I spend alone to dwell
On how to speak what's deep inside my heart,
I know I put myself through pain and hell,
Fearing my soul shall soon be ripped apart.
But if, to you, my love is never known;
My broken heart shall always be alone.
