Like as the sun rising in early morn
Lighting the world with its majestic rays,
Your loving words mend every heart that’s torn
Apart by life when in the darkest days.
So beautiful is your sweet, smiling face
And hazel eyes so full of love and care
That takes my heart when I’ve fallen from grace
Not letting go until fully repaired;
And when the dark of night returns to steal
What happiness remains inside my heart,
Like an angel of God, you come and heal
The weariness that tears my soul apart.
My dear, I now know miracles come true
Even to those whose lives are full of pain.
I often find myself in awe of you
When I whisper the sound of your sweet name;
Even your name touches the very core
Of my dark soul when lost in nothingness.
You’ll never know just how much I adore
To hear from you and your sweet words of bliss.
So many times I’ve wanted you to know
Just what you mean to all of those you touch,
And from the bottom of my heart and soul,
I hope you know that you are loved so much!
Three years ago I count the greatest day
When we both met and you took in this stray.
