When gentle Day falls to the weary Night

When gentle Day falls to the weary Night

A Poem by IceDragonOfPluto

When gentle day falls to the weary night,
Reminding me of my soul's nothingness
Increasing as the slowly fading light
Stops my heart with this weary loneliness:
And in my loneliness, I know too well
My love for you will never be returned;
So in this loneliness, I've made my hell
For my damned soul to eternally burn.
Burn everything of me, what's left, and more;
May I never rise from the earth again.
I hope hell's fire takes all that I've adored
To rid me of your memory (my pain).
From gentle day, to weary night, I know
This pain, inside, will never leave my soul.

Positive and unreal, a bright and meritocratic sense of wonder, well done
