The Line that Leads Away

The Line that Leads Away

A Poem by IceDragonOfPluto

Condemned unto a fate that's worse than death,
I boldly walk the line that leads away
From you, my love. I take my final breath
And give you my last kiss. I wish to stay,
Forever looking in those once kind eyes
That eased this weary heart so long ago.
Though, now, my battered heart is full of cries.
I loved you from the bottom of my soul,
But you cast me away, and now this heart
Is left to mend alone in agony,
Remembering how you tore me apart.
With only tears to keep me company,
I'll live forever in my dark abyss,
Dreaming of you; dreaming of your sweet kiss.

Hehe, another favorite. =] Something about these new two of yours sparkle a bit brighter than the usual, complimenting your other collection to give just the right paint coating.
