Wolfen Howls

Wolfen Howls

A Poem by IceDragonOfPluto
"

the pleading of a wolf

"

Howling at moon under the starry night,
Pleading for peace to ease my weary heart,
I long once more to be held close and tight
Though I know well that we are far apart.

With every night I stand under the moon,
I howl in vain, wishing for your return.
These longing pleas are all sung with the tune
Inside my heart, drumming for whom I yearn;

And though each night I howl without you near,
My soul still feels the bond we two have shared.
So as I howl, I howl as if you're here
Under the moon with me----a wolfen pair.

So if apart you must be kept from me,
Then I shall howl for all eternity.

Composed excellently! Your words flowed really well, and the emotions were portrayed immediately.
"So if apart you must be kept from me,
Then I shall howl for all eternity."
I love these last two lines. Great write. :)

Fantastic, clear crisp and invoked of grammatical excellence. A pure emotional ride of stark nature, well done.
