You Were My Soul

You Were My Soul

A Poem by IceDragonOfPluto
"

I miss you my Diamond. I was weak. I hope you forgive me one day. I never wanted us to stop.

"

Ole Time, my enemy, can not return
The love I lost so many years ago.
I crumble in this pit and hope to burn
Every fiber of my evil soul!
How could I let you slip away from me?
How could I let you suffer without hope?
You were the only one that dared to see
The real me, the one that could never cope

With pain. And when you needed me the most,

I left you bare; alone without a hand
To hold you. Now, I live this life; a ghost

With no one whom would dare to understand
That I was not the rock I should have been

To guide you through. You were MORE than my friend.
