Fairytale Flames

Fairytale Flames

A Poem by ICE

Filling up

This already full cup

The air sighs

Delaying tragic

Seam popping

Metamorphasis

Of a good deed

Gone wrong.

I

Solitary I

Dies alone

Twisting and turning

Amongst this new

Ground

Full of new hopes

And dismal dreams

Laid to waste

In fire.

This is possibly one of your best poems, in my opinion. The word choice and flow is perfect for the (perceived) message being sent.

such a gorgeous near abstract poem. you bring these sharply crystalline phrases to mind with a clarity i've seen in few poems

it draws me in and makes me want to read more..

I don't think I have ever read a thing of yours that I didn't completely relate with, and/or love to death. I guess I just love your style, but I must say that there is a certain level of genius that you lay into everything you pen...like a brilliant stitching....knitted so perfectly. Excellent work!
