Sinking

Sinking

A Poem by ICE

Turning everything

I thought I knew

Upside down

I sit here

Cold and unfeeling

Yearning for something

Tangable

Something real.

Trying to force it all out

I forget its true meaning

And fail misserably

Triapsing in quicksand

As flood gates burst open

Reveiling nothing

But self doubt

And another thing to

Worry about.

Simple straight to the point. A moment we all experiences almost every day every week. We speak about the confusion in our lives just never as poetic as you have presented here. Nice write.

I really like the use of your words here. There is so much to take away from such a few amount of words. Very descriptive and deep display of a looming soul. "Reveiling nothing But self doubt And another thing to Worry about." I really like these lines....perfect way to end a great body of work!
