Not KnowingA Poem by ICE
I don't quite Know How to tell you That instead of Feeling nothing I feel all too well while The pain and anger Swell inside, And as usual I'm at a loss For words As you look me In the face Awaiting an answer. I don't quite Know How to tell you That instead of Feeling happy I want it all To end. Not us... Just the memories Of horrid days and staring at the wall. And as usual I'm at a loss For words As you look me In the face Awaiting an answer. I don't quite know How to tell you That instead of living All I can do is Mourn the thing I threw away. I don't know How to tell you That I need you More than air More than I've Ever needed anything else... And as usual I'm at a loss for words As you look me In the face Awaiting an answer. I don't quite know How to tell you That that huge decision You left me to make Alone... I now regret. That...I wanted to know How you felt Looking at your computer screen ...Whilst the world was falling down around me. And as usual I'm suddenly at a loss for words As you stare me down Awaiting an answer That I just can't give you For fear that It won't be enough; I won't be enough...
