Hold up

Hold up

A Poem by Ibthlhal

We choose to look in the mirror
Yet so many choose not to look at themselves
Is not being naive no is the judgement passed on them
We tend to break people to try and build ourselves up

But how would life be if color doesn't choose what you are
What if we don't choose to hide our scars
How about we love what we see in the mirror
How about we don't care on our weight for a minute and smile

Am sorry I must be out of my mind if all I pray for is happiness
Is not about having the world or the world revolving around us
We have broken so many people just by a word
Is not fair to look at someone thinking you are better

So forgive me if all I see is people trying to find their way
Am not here to break another person am not perfect am imperfect and I love that
So y'all need to take some step back and choose love not hate
You know why cause that's all we all search for is love and acceptance
