In my mind

In my mind I see how I plan my life out my dreams
Yet everyday am not closer to who I dream to be
Every single day am more closer to my time running out
Yet in my mind I need a stop sign to go through everything

Every day I loose a piece of what I was and I am what I am
Yet in my mind I am still that little child
My heart dreams to live for life yet am not sure I will
Yet in my mind I dream of a better me

So I sit and wait for the chance to be yet I forget I am the chance
I dream about the best parts of my future
Yet I heal from the dreams of my past
Am still trying to adjust my dreams to the present of who I am
