"Why do we dream of sorrow?"
By: Ian Koterwski

Why do we dream of sorrow, when pain passes by?
We only see the darkness, that encompases our eye.
Why must we be mute, when the devil grabs our tongue?
Why should all our people be shoved to a pile of dung?
We cry and cry to no avail, the sorrows never go.
This my friend is why i say,"The sorrows always grow."

The poem makes little sense, you answer your own questions, and rhyming is achieved through exception, not innovation. Symbolic analogies are worn and haphazard: the only connection between lines is the loose concept of general sorrow. I would not take influence from my peers if I were you.

This captures the woes of life, and hardships; as well as the feelings that pass us by during the times we are sad. I love how this had a rhythm to it, and think your doing a great job capturing moments in time. Keep up the good work, and excellent imagery.
