Why? How? I know. I know.

Why have you gone?

Did I fail to see the beginning?

Or fail to see the end?

Did I ignore the warning signs?

Or cause them through ignoration?

Why have you gone?

I feel as if my heart has been robbed

Or have I ransacked your feelings in turn?

Was I oblivious to the problems at hand?

Or was I involved with tasks?

Why have you gone?

I understand it now

As I repeat to myself in sorrow

Though to keep myself from the truth

I sit here and question

Why have you gone?
