A time to let goA Poem by iamthewriterlost love of a shattered heartAll our rainbow dreams, wrapped within a ring of ice, together we walked through life, homeless, tired or wet. In your loving ways, you made things seem so nice, no matter how I crowed about the amount of our debt. This dawn arrives, the night has stolen your spirit, yet somehow from within my pleasant dreams you say that I must arise. I growl good morning to you my love, but do you hear, now forever you'll sleep, I fear scream of a bad mistake. My tears cry out, leaning in for that one last final kiss, as the sun flows in through the window, yet we are apart. I remember in all the love we shared, holding one that I will miss, as I keep trying to hold you, trying to give you breath from my heart. Accepting the truth, in all the pain it's made seems that of a dove, thinking as the children see the horror, and again I start to cry. sorting apart by sight all the things you held in pure love, I'm somehow going to do the right thing, maybe to open heaven's eye. Now, when leaving this world that you know, as in our true love, and all the world knowing our hearts have danced. and with an angel singing, swaying for you to let go, keep them in right mind, we will again seek out our hearts romance. © 2015 iamthewriterFeatured Review
