I needed a friend
Because I had none
But never expected to
Fall in love with one
It happened so suddenly
I got afraid and tried my hardest
To push you away
Unable to love afraid of lust
Yet all I thought about was us
The nights away felt like knives
Cutting at my wrist
Deep inside me, I was pissed
Not because I let you go
But because you let me know
Love do exist
And I wasn’t ready
To deal with this
So please don’t be mad at me
I just had to get away
But whenever I do come back
Will you let me stay?
