Month Of Spring

Month Of Spring

A Poem by Inject Positivity

Winter is now old
Though the coloured wings
Warble their songs of sweetness
As if they have found new ways
To float with the springtime breeze
Withered leaves and discoloured branches
Bear the stories of winter's cruel clutches
The half awaken sun hiding behind the clouds
Draped in a warm blanket of dawning sky

Inject Positivity,
You have acquired a skill for bringing into focus your subject in such a wonderful way. "Winter is now old.. though the colored wings..warble their songs of sweetness." This comes to life in the emotion. Very cool!
Spring is new and fresh and these words enforce this truth; "As if they have found new ways.. to float with the springtime breeze.
The end lines give wonderful contrast between winter and spring too; "withered leaves and discolored branches bear the stories of winder's cruel clutches..."
I like how you write so much! Very encouraging and inspiring! kathy

' The half awaken sun hiding behind the clouds
Draped in a warm blanket of dawning sky '

A beautiful and elegant finish to a lovely poem. Spring is what it is, the spring from which comes new life.

Hey, fren

It's been a while. And I came to read something only to realise that this isn't something, it's ART. The imagery, the rythm, they're all perfect m. Well written indeed

Your poems of nature always bring out a certain truth that can even be applicable with humans, as well as it expresses such beauty in the natural world. Well done!

Hmmmm. I cannot wait for some springtime breeze! Still snow covered here! This poem makes me yearn for warmer days for sure. :)
