A Bag Full Of Stars

A Bag Full Of Stars

A Poem by Inject Positivity

I begin my journey from a distant land
Not knowing where I am going
I imagine myself as a traveler
Walking towards an unknown path
With a bag full of homeless stars

I'm searching for their airport on earth
The same ones who had lost their ways
In the gravitational riddle of this earth
I gave them my old red bag to hide
To sleep under a calm and gentle care at night

For them I brought a bottle of water
Filled with the drops collected from the ocean
Hoping that they could swim in it
Wetting their starry eyes and feathers
Before they return to their star filled sky

If you lose you path along the way, you won't need your eyes. The craters of the moon are merely brail to be read by blind angels. Connect the dots and free your stars. I'm a fan of your poetry.

Inject Positivity,
"A Bag Full Of Stars" reminds of the hopes and dreams felt but not yet understood. For instance; From a distant land..I am going..towards an unknown path- "With a bag of full of homeless stars." How lovely and inspiring in hope; Stars! Then the search for a path of hope; "airport on earth..one who lost their way..riddle of the earth..red bag to hide..calm and gentle care at night" The last stanza is the place of nurture for your soul's hope. This even feels like faith to me. "a bottle of water ..drops..from the ocean..to swim in it..wetting starry eyes and feathers.." This poem is a quiet inner voice asking for and hopeing for and believing things in life will grow and trying to believe in good. This is so positive...........Like your pen name it fits as well. Inject positivity! I hope you are blessed and can smile and know that your voice matters and this poem showed great beauty.............kathy

Well done, Dhiman. I can see the longing in this one, the need to get away and try a new adventure, a place where the stars require assistance. This is filled with hope. Good write

The lost stars that cannot find their way... Something both sad and romantic about this.
Well done.

I really like the idea of giving sanctuary to stars, feeding and nourishing the forgotten. It takes the mind on a whole new trajectory of thought, that one day those same stars, who will forever watch over us, will shine brighter when required, to light your path on the darkest of journeys.

Very imaginative! I love the way you have been writing about different journeys & each one is unique & different. Our lives are just a bunch of different journeys & I especially like this "bag full of homeless stars" which reminds me of the years I spent volunteering with homeless pets at the shelter. It could be anything for any reader. And for you . . . who knows where these stars will take you!?!?! Great sense of adventure & suspense (((HUGS)))

Holy smokes, this wordplay, the metaphors... Color me impressed. Truly an excellently crafted piece that makes one think. But not to deeply, much like the pool of oceans mist they swim. Beautiful.

Of course, you are very welcome.
I'm not quite sure what to make of this poem, but I enjoy what I can understand. The first line sets the tone for the rest, and the ending is beautiful.
