Collaboration: two visions

Golden gleam sparks upon earth's life
Bestowing warmth upon all it lights

A silent peace in incandescent sky 
Birds spreading wings take flight

Sunbeams bathing in morning's river
Breezes echoing the starfilled night

First rays paint the horizon
A sliver of yellowed bright

Touches of sunlight sparkle darkening air
A living vision made to dazzle and stun

Flares shine solely on heavens not earth
Hints of illumination from a falling sun

Serenity overwhlems with specatular brilliance
As the end of day is completely done

Purple hues fad to black as the
Final glint retreats, night has begun

Skies sleep in a bed of stars
Or wake in the care of light

One star, one planet,
Two visions as one

Author's Note

We took Inject Positivitiy's way with lyrical words and natural wonder, combined them with S. Mi's penchant for wrangling words into a concept...this is the result. You will find the same work on both pages.

As you know, I love nature & natural phenomenon, which you've painted with graceful words & images here. I like the way the day is described mostly in terms of light, with many possible analogies about soaking in the light we are blessed to receive or radiating light out into our experiences. I especially love the ending, where you've used so few words to conjure up the meaningful idea about how one star (person) can shine while the planet (other person) reflects that light . . . this is always the way it goes in relationships/friendships, with the one doing the shining & the one reflecting always an alternating dance. This is an exquisite analogy about inspiring each other. I can really see this happening between you & S.Mi.

Each line contains lovely, unique descriptions expressed through words that flow smoothly and give the entire piece a calm, warm feel, just like the rays of light described.
