The Carnival Part TwoA Poem by ChloeSo through the crowds you walked a minature hand in each of your's when the child on your left cried for a red bag of cherry cotton candy, hanging in a row displayed in a concession you quickly pushed to the front of the line your child was hungry!
So through the crowds you walked with a minature hand in each of your's when the child on your right saught the booth of other children receiving face paintings he jumped up and cheered to cover his face you plopped him in a vacant chair and told the artist to do their very, very best
So throught the crowds you walked with a minature hand in each of your's when the children holding your hands released themeselves and ran towards the ferris wheel, you called their names in longing and disappointment when they turned to witness your anger you realized the cherry blood on your daughter's fingers and the frowning clown on your son's face.
