Weird As Could Be...

This poem includes features in the world we don't have and tells about a different life...

Gumdrops as raindrops

The sun as the moon

The ocean as the desert

And onions as sand dunes.

 

Tundras, mountains, plateaus, and plains

Life can be so different including these names

 

Your life could be different

In so many ways

And Even sometimes

You can't pass the long days.

 

Blood as glass

Skin as paper

Legs as crutches

And hands as tazers.

 

Days on end

Shocking yourself all over

Breaking your bones

if only for a four leaf clover.

 

People laugh at you

Maybe call you names

But you don't care

Your not ashamed

 

You should be proud

Of just having these ways

Because You know in the end

You will pass the days...

Author's Note

Please if I have grammar problems in this poem don't speak about it and also he moral of this poem is that you should always be proud of wht you have and don't let others hurt you.

As a person, is dealing with the aftermath of countless years of verbal and physical abuse, it's hard to love oneself. Especially, when you hear your tormentors' speaking in your head on a daily basis. There are days that i wish your poem was true for me, as anxiety/panic attacks inprison me in my own apartment for days. Thank you for offering this poem of hope and change for us.
