Here?

Entree for "Prose: 100 words or less" contest :)

I am here, am I not?  I feel my footsteps, I hear my breathing.  I see the sun setting in the distance.  You see it too.  But if I were to ask you if I was here, you would not respond.  You would not hear.  I see you, but you don't see me.  I have followed you all your life.  I've stared straight at you, and you back at me, yet still you don't realize I am here.  Turn around and look.  You'll find me there, willing you to see; or rather, you won't.

its got great potential as a poem but if you could edit the structure a little bit to make it more poem like, it would help in reading it. nevertheless i like the idea behind the poem, i think it is interesting.
