The Melody of the Night, The Harmony of the DayA Poem by IHCLove?Foul sound's clouds raced about me over heard hearing nothing but the long, cold, continuous heart beat that never faded away
clocks sound loud from all around me carry on through the stillness a thread away from the night killed before lifting a finger
I never knew such magic existed Whispers out my window bequeath me and here I am still living never to see the the end
Footsteps ring lonely and I sigh a battle of lost paradise glimpse the room of the lost harvest souls rest knowing really nothing
This magic has never seen love nor tasted the wine of the river Is it too late to see the world with wonder? The sun light tears the sky
A smile in the back of the room ghost tells tales lonely And who dares to live today? Clocks ring thrice around me Pretending like waiting for longing The grass waves in the breeze The memories can't live the clouds carry on
unperturbed the world, consumed in darkness, greets me © 2015 IHC |
