Worries Like Bees

Worries Like Bees

A Poem by Mystique

Worries.
We all have them.
Like bees, they swarm through our heads.
They leave and the return
to the hives we call our minds,
Closing in on our imagination
until they crush it.
Leaving nothing but dreaded reality in its place.
Only then do we realize
how special and fragile our imaginations truly are.

Very true, worrying is often a story we are telling ourselves about the future. Best to pause, breathe and live in the moment. As you wrote face reality, can be hard and scary to do but important. Thank you for sharing your poem

That is so true! When writers block hits, we are either worried or scared to continue writing or it's just our imaginary friends giving us the silent treatment. However, with bees comes the honey of our imagination if we just reclaim it.
