So I just got off the phone-A Poem by I.F.W. DavisWritten: 2012-2013 x Edited: 2024
they shut off the power this morning,
which isn’t exactly something new, but at least I can still afford to be upset about it. Usually there’s a warning at least, like that in itself is a privilege- being reminded that my current occupation selling poppers and back room “massages” doesn’t make enough to support my standard of living, whatever that might be. Not this time though- apparently there was a mix up at the post office so I wasn’t granted the piety of time, and if my snake dies due it’s lack of an endothermic metabolism while I’m instructing a customer on the different settings of “my first beaver vibe,” I’m supposed to file my thorough and well written complaint with someone who has worse problems during their day than some guy whining about a broken quarter machine impeding his conversion experience in a semen stained broom closet. © 2024 I.F.W.
