The seasons

The seasons

A Poem by iffi malik

the flowers as they start to bloom
the birds sing in a melodious tune
the bark turns green
and cleared sky is overseen
bees hum far and near
the spring is here

the day's span as it gets long
and the heat it brings along
till the sky falls down with rain
makes the people jolly again
they shout and they cheer
the summer is here

the fronds as they start to shed
the leaves turned into yellowish shade
the wind snap and crack
its the time for harvest
with a nip in the air
the autumn is here

the chill as it sets all around
blanket of white background
the birds fly out south
the year at final route
with the cold they all shiver
the winter is here

the seasons though now at their end
but this cycle will startover once again
they're a fleeting guest
a new one taking its place
as the seasons change
as the seasons change!
