To My SketchbookA Poem by LGBT_ProudFree Verse
Dear Sketchbook,
I try to take care of you. Yet your pages are still torn. Your cover still muddy. I use your pages almost every day! I handle them with utmost care. It's other people, throwing you around. I'm sorry, I try to get you back. People pull you away from me While I try to tape or glue you together again. They plead me to look at my drawings. Yet they ruin them all the same. I'm sorry I call you sketchbook, you just remind me of one. Your pages your heart, your cover your smile. I really am sorry tape is all I have.
