Love, Sex, and Diamonds

Love, Sex, and Diamonds

A Poem by SignificantAcronym
"

Don't worry, it's safe to read young ones

"
Breath like lavender crystals
Eyes like hurricanes
Locks like a tumbling winter of gold coins
Skin that glows with fluorescence
Inhale me and exhale light
Give me power give me life
Strawberry clouds and peppermint wind
Sickeningly sweet butterscotch sins
Warmth like a summer left out in the rain
Sprinting to nowhere sopping up the pain
Sticky heat floods my veins
The music is hot syrup on my tongue
My heart gallops wildly among pools of milky jade
My blood cantors freely past honeysuckle dreams
Notes flow from guitars like waterfalls of glass
Pine scented drum beats run through the floor
Doldrums of bass sing through my hair
I toss and I turn
I wake up
You're not there
