Bending the RulesA Poem by SignificantAcronymNeo-maxi-zoom-dweebie
Well here I am again
I'm amazed at the way you inspire me So heavily So many words To say to you Finally we've said our peace We've done the deed But now you leave Leave me here alone to contemplate my actions Not alone and sad But doesn't it feel so good To be bad? You have a beauty and now you've shown me What you can do To pull it through And maybe now we can be better friends Even though the boundaries Set from the beginning, please Remove your humble walls and set new ones With gates instead of padlocked doors With trees and birds not rocks and moors A place where the love that we two share Is not judged by the others where They all assume one or an other They don't know us, we have each other's Backs at least I hope you do And if you don't I'm telling you To be careful with my heart Cuidado con mi corazon Or however you spell My spelling was never really rad And doesn't it feel so good To be bad? I see the horizon Dawn Not hell A new day New beginnings New light New passion New fight New life Thank you for all you have and haven't done I could tell from the start you weren't just anyone And now my friend our bodies part But not our minds And not our hearts Like addiction You cling to our friction A drug pumped right into your veins Heroin of love and pleasure The needle's not your greatest treasure It is the bag from which you keep A solution to help you sleep Take heed now friend When I say that Doesn't it feel so good To be bad? © 2014 SignificantAcronymAuthor's Note
