Sometimes I think I'm clever...this is one of those times

I felt as though we were growing
Closer but now I see we've grown
Apart. not all the way but it's
Not just that. I feel like we need
To think things through and not
Lie about our true thoughts and
I know you'd much rather keep
Virtually hidden from the rest of us
Even if you try you remain an enigma
Waiting for the right person to
Illustrate exactly what you are
Thinking, even if they've only known you for
Half a minute or so and
Obviously you feel you haven't found that
Unique human being. Or have you?
Think hard about everyone
You've experienced throughout your life
Or even someone you haven't met yet
Undoubtedly they could be sitting right in front of you
